Michael Holley spent 10 years with The Boston Globe, where his jobs included general assignment sports reporter, Celtics beat writer, and sports columnist. He also worked at The Chicago Tribune and Akron (Ohio) Beacon Journal. While with the Beacon Journal, he was part of a reporting team that engaged in a yearlong study of race relations in northeast Ohio. The project won the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Meritorious Public Service. He spent 13 years as a talk-show host on Boston sports radio station WEEI, and he is currently a studio and talk-show host on NBC Sports Boston.

Holley’s most recent book is “Papi: My Story,” a New York Times bestselling memoir with former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz. He is also the author of the New York Times bestsellers “Patriot Reign,” “Never Give Up” (with Tedy Bruschi), “Red Sox Rule,” “War Room,” and “Belichick and Brady.”
