Boston Globe reporters Meghan Irons and Malcolm Gay take you behind the scenes of The Valedictorians Project, a data-intensive series that explored education, inequality and social mobility through the stories of more than 150 valedictorians. Irons and Gay will discuss the months-long project, which eventually tapped resources across the newsroom and demanded broad data collection, in-depth on-the-ground reporting, and deep analysis -- all told through a variety of media.
